Gautam Dhingra, CFA

Gautam Dhingra is the CEO and a Portfolio Manager at High Pointe Capital Management, LLC. He developed the firm's pioneering investment approach focusing on intangible assets that distinguishes the firm and gives it an edge over its competitors.

Prior to starting High Pointe, Gautam was a partner at Hewitt Associates advising numerous blue-chip clients as to how to structure their investment programs. Over the years, his clients included twelve members of the Fortune 100 List, namely, Citicorp, Verizon, Target, Safeway, Sprint, Allstate, Motorola, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, General Dynamics, Liberty Mutual and John Deere.

Gautam was a faculty member at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management for two years. He holds a Ph.D. in finance, with a specialization in investments, from the University of Florida where he also taught courses in Securities Analysis and Derivatives. He is a past Chairman of CFA Society Chicago and a long-time member of the Economic Club of Chicago.

Gautam has written and published articles on various investment topics. His recent speaking engagements have been on the topic of Global Investing at the National Association of Securities Professionals and National Consulting Actuaries Conference. He has been quoted widely by various media outlets including Reuters, CNN, Fox Business, BBC, National Public Radio, and Chicago Tribune.
